Tony Appuglies, Pastor

Tony Appuglies is a native of Texas, where, for the first twenty years of his ministry, he has served in Children, Youth, and Adult Education, as well as, Worship and Music.  He came to Moscow in July of 2010 to assume the role of Pastor of Grace Bible Church.  He has a Bachelors of Arts in Communication from Angelo State University in San Angelo, TX and attended Dallas Theological Seminary.

He and his wife, Jill, have two beautiful daughters, Melody and Selah, and a son, Timothy.  Together they enjoy spending time together creating memories, going on hikes, singing and playing games.  When he has free time, Tony enjoys golf and fishing.

His passion is preaching God's word verse by verse and serving people.  His favorite passage of Scripture is 2 Corinthians 5:17-21,

"17Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. 18All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; 19that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. 20Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. 21For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." (ESV)
